Here at Ninth Planet T-Shirts, we try to do all that we do with minimal negative impact to the environment in mind, and as such all of our products are packaged in Stock Compostable Garment Bags. These certified home and commercially compostable bags break down in 180 and 90 days respectively. So you can rest assured that when you purchase from Ninth Planet, you are not adding to the destruction of our own planet in the process!

Unstoppably Compostable Packaging

Compostable packaging is typically made from a number of renewable plant-based materials and/or bio-polymers. To be certified home compostable, a product must break down in home compost within 180 days and 90 days in commercial composting conditions. Easily broken down in a compost, these products also tend to have chemical compounds removed from the product.

How You Can Help

Sometimes people don’t even notice that something is actually compostable, meaning it can still end up in a grotty landfill. So if you don’t have a home compost, you can always look at local options for communal compost sites, or somewhere you can drop off items for commercial composting.
